A little over a decade ago, I went on a date. My date took me for dinner, had my tea leaves red, and concluded the event with a walk through Hiawatha. I wasn't looking to be in a relationship, but these things tend to come when you least expect it. 
Now over a decade later we're a dynamic duo. We have our own little family (proud parents to a senior dog and a sassy cat). I reflect back on this place, which feels unchanged while I have changed so much. So much has changed since that date. Life is funny in that some things change, while others take time to change but project the same feelings many moons later.
